Thomson, GA. - Mrs. Margie Jane Foster, 72, of Flat Rock Rd., entered into rest January 4, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Foster was a native of Guyton, GA and the daughter of the late Clarence Woods and the late Inez Jenkins Woods. She lived in Effingham County many years before moving to Thomson over 20 years ago. She was a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Foster enjoyed gardening, camping, and fishing.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Roger Foster; sons, Ricky Marshall, Dallas, GA, Michael Marshall, Carrolton, GA, Donnie Marshall, Norwood, GA; daughter, Tracy Bergman, Sandersville, GA; brother, Robert Woods, Brooklet, GA; and sister, Sue Williams, Atlanta, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Leonard Dupree officiating. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Wood's Family Cemetery in Marlow, GA.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
