Margaret Ruth White Dearing, GA. - Mrs. Margaret Ruth Eubanks White, 84 entered into rest March 26, 2012 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Merle White. Mrs. White was born in Sleepy Hollow, SC and was the daughter of the late Ted Eubanks and Dora Heath Eubanks. She had lived in Dearing for 45 years, moving from Augusta. Mrs. White loved fishing at the Dearing State Ponds, was an avid reader and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. She was Baptist by faith. Survivors include: sons, Paul Romeo and wife, Judy, Michael S. White and wife, Susan; daughters, Susan Romeo, Ruth White Bass and husband, Michael; brothers, Paul Eubanks and wife, Olivia, twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her brothers, James Eubanks, Hugh Eubanks, Joseph Eubanks and John Eubanks. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 30, 2012 at the residence.
