Margaret Johnson Barch

Margaret Johnson Barch, 69, of Louisville, KY passed away on February 8, 2015. She was a beloved wife, sister, aunt, and a dear friend to many. Margaret was born in Washington, Georgia in 1945 and lived every aspect of her life with grace, intelligence and warmth.
Margaret was a member of Highland Baptist Church and played an active role in the Cherokee Triangle Neighborhood. She was a proud alum of the University of Minnesota and received her Master's in Biology from Georgia State University. A pioneering cytogenetic technologist for more than 40 years, Margaret had been Manager and Interim Director of the Frank P. Johnson, Jane Roberta Johnson Roper (John, dec.), Ann Johnson Bowes (Milow) and many treasured nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jane Septima Fluker Johnson and Robert W. Johnson. All who had the good fortune of knowing Margaret will remember her as someone who truly made her world a better place.
