MARCY N. PILGRIM Thomson, GA - Mrs. Marcella "Marcy" N. Pilgrim, 85, of Earle Street, was called to heaven December 4, 2010. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence W. Pilgrim, Jr. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Bill Williams as celebrant. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Two Prater, Michael Brown, Michael Smith, Daniel Garcia, Jason Franks, Nathan Bonick, Michael Brooks, Stewart Smith, John Cassidy and David Guy. Mrs. Pilgrim was born in Louisville, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late John Nauert and the late Malinda Nord Nauert. She was a homemaker and a very faithful and devoted member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Thomson, Georgia. Survivors include her children, Danny Pilgrim and wife, Rose of Thomson, GA, Jim Pilgrim and wife Ann of Winder, GA, Vianna Mathis and husband, Claude of Thomson, GA, Clarence W. "Buddy" Pilgrim, III and wife, Tammie of Aiken, SC, Kenneth Pilgrim and wife Wanda of Hartwell, GA, Anita Reese and husband Don, Carolyn Powers and husband, David, Ronnie Pilgrim and wife Susan, Marsha Smith and husband, Jim, Angela Hammond and husband, Lee all of Thomson, GA, Melinda Bedgood and husband, Powell of Pace, FL, Lorian English and wife, Teresa of Thomson, GA; brother, Joseph Nauert of Louisville, KY; sisters, Beatrice Bleemel of Murray, KY, Kitty Redmon, Sister M. Perpetua OSU, Teresa Ellsworth all of Louisville, KY, 33 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and sister-in-laws, Lottie Sheffield and Allene Pilgrim. The family request that memorial contributions be made to the Queen of Angels Catholic Church Building Fund,1326 Washington Rd. Thomson, GA 30824.
