Mae Radford Shoemaker Thomson, GA - Mrs. Mae Radford Shoemaker, 77, entered into rest September 24, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Second Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Drawdy and Brian Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Mrs. Shoemaker was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County and was the daughter of the late Chesley Radford and the late Lillian Reese Partain. Mrs. Shoemaker had worked as a seamtress at Thomson Company and was Baptist by faith. Survivors include her son, Donald Shoemaker and his wife, Phyllis; daughters, Vivian Hixenbaugh, Debra A. Vinson and husband, Lynn, Tammie E. Beerbohm and her husband, Mike; half-brother, Dennis Partain; grandchildren, Brian Shoemaker, Crystal Shoemaker, Melissa H. Grzybowski, Brooke Vinson, Amber Vinson, Hunter Vinson, Austin Hixenbaugh; and two great-grandchildren, Paige Grzybowski and Addison Grzybowski. Friends may call at the Shoemaker residence, 237 Morningside Drive, Thomson, Georgia or from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
