Mack E. Heard

Mr. Mack Emmett Heard, 92, of Camry Lane, Grayson, Georgia, passed away at his home on January 29,2023.   A graveside memorial service is planned for Saturday, February 25,2023 at 2 PM at the Tignall Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Heard was born on July 10, 1930, in Tignall to Tom and Grace Dawkins Heard.   After graduating from Tignall High School, he served his country by joining the U S Navy.  He worked for a transport company in their clerical department for many years before retiring.  Mack moved from Lawrenceville, Georgia but had lived in Grayson for about 12 years.  One of his enjoyments in life was listening to country music.

He was preceded by in death by his wife Marjorie Vernon Heard and is survived by his brother Jack Heard of Washington and sister, Carolyn and husband, Ronald Snider of Martinez, sister-in-law Ilene Gray of Powder Springs, and two nieces Cathy and husband, Robert Armour of Washington, and Tina and husband, Robbie Cook, of Grayson.
