Lynwood Johnson

Warrenton, GA-Mr. Lynwood Johnson, 87, of Quaker Rd., entered into rest May 29, 2015 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of the late Hazel N. Johnson for 62 years.

Mr. Johnson was a lifelong resident of Warren County, GA and the son of the late Ward Johnson and the late Elzie Abbott Johnson. He founded Johnson Dairy Farm in 1954 and has been active in the operation up until the past month. Mr. Johnson was a faithful and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Johnson United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his son, Dennis Johnson and wife, Gail; daughter, Christy Gardner-Keith and husband, Jon all of Warrenton, GA; grandchildren, Chad Johnson, Chasity Rabun, Clint Johnson, J. B. Gardner, Josh Gardner and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock, p.m., Monday, June 1, 2015 at Johnson United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Richards officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Chad Johnson, Clint Johnson, J. B. Gardner, Josh Gardner, Brian Rabun and Stanley Dallas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson Cemetery Fund, c/o  Randy Johnson, 3312 Gibson Hwy., Warrenton, GA 30828.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
