Ludell Elrod Daugherty

Augusta, GA. – Mrs. Ludell Elrod Daugherty, 85, went home to be with her Lord on April 14, 2017.

Mrs. Daugherty was born in Greenwood, South Carolina to the late Rodney Jasper Elrod and the late Carrie Alexander Elrod. She lived in Dearing, Georgia, Thomson and the Augusta area for over 50 years where she spent much of her time caring for children. Mrs. Daugherty was also a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Grovetown. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Daugherty was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. Daugherty; brothers, Roy W. Elrod, John W. Elrod and sisters, Elizabeth Taylor and Mary McCurley.

Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Ann Richardson; brother, Frank Elrod and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock p.m., Monday, April 17th at the First Pentecostal Church of Grovetown with Pastor Dewain French and Pastor Randy Blizzard officiating. Interment to follow at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m., Monday prior to the service at the church.
