Lucinda "Cindy" (Aycock) Chastain

Mrs. Lucinda "Cindy" Aycock Chastain, 75 of Hephzibah Church Road, Lincolnton, GA, entered into eternal rest Friday, January 13, 2023 at Wills Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service is planned for Monday, January 16th, at 4:00 pm at Greenwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Amity where she was a longtime member and played the piano for many years before her health failed. Rev. Addison Belangia will officiate. Pallbearers are Lex Aycock, Brad Bagwell, Alex Garcia, Bryant Garcia, Tommy Martin, and Marcus Matthews.

Cindy was born on September 16, 1947 to the late James "Bitty" and Barbara "Bobbie" Aycock. She graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1965 and married Charles in December of that same year. She had many jobs throughout her life, the last one being at Ace Hardware. She enjoyed waiting on customers and catching up with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles; son, Jameson "Jamie" and daughter-in-law, Cindy Lee; and grandson, Adam Chastain and girlfriend, Rebecca Armour. Other survivors are her brother, Alex Aycock; sister, Faith Hill (Mark); sister-in-law, Colleen Chastain; aunts, Reesie Ludwig (John) and Daphne Rowland (James), along with many nieces and nephews.
