LUCILLE RABUN MARSHALL RETIRED OFFICE MANAGER MRS. LUCILLE RABUN MARSHALL of Rousseau Creek Rd. Thomson, GA. entered into rest, with family at her bedside on June 21, 2007 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late William Curtis Bass and the late Paul Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Sharon Baptist Church with Revs. Andy Collins and Kenneth Garvin officiating. Interment will follow at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be members of Sweetwater Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Sharon Baptist Church. Mrs. Marshall was the daughter of the late Archie Floyd and Betty Lou Rabun of Dearing. She was the sister of late Mae Rabun and James Rabun also of Dearing, GA. She was a devoted Christian and a current member of Sharon Baptist Church and a former member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. She loved to work in her yard and received great pleasure sewing for family members. "Granny Lou" will be greatly missed by her family. Her dear friend Mable, described Lucille as someone who always wanted to do for others, but never wanted others to do for her. Survivors include, a daughter Pat Armstrong and her husband Larry of N. Augusta, a son Mike Bass and his wife Ruthie of Thomson, a daughter Donna Knight and her husband Larry of N. Augusta , her brother Wilson Rabun of Thomson , Grandchildren: Amy Meadows, Missy Simons, Nora Simons, Vernon Simons, Jr., Rebecca Johnson, Chris Young, Nicole Bass, Jill Atkinson and Sarah Bass 13 Great- Grandchildren Special thanks to United Hospice for their support also a warm thank you to Mable Presnell and Pastor Andy Collins for their visits and prayers.
