Thomson, Georgia- Mrs. Louise Phillips Reese, 83, of Ridge Rd. entered into rest December 13, 2015.

Mrs. Reese was born in Dawsonville, GA to the late James Wade Phillips and the late Clovie Holloway Phillips. She lived in McDuffie County for many years. Mrs. Reese was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Reese.

Survivors include her daughters, Jan Bailey ( Jim) of Sugar Hill, Sandy Meadows ( Sam) and Patricia Reese all of Thomson; brother, Leonard Phillips (Cathy); sister, Ann Hickle of Thomson; 6 grandchildren, Tim Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Tony Meadows, Austin Meadows, Lee Bailey and Wes Bailey; 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15th in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday, December 14th at the funeral home.
