Louise "Nan" Henslee Reeves, 92, Dearing, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on April 18, 2023, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her children.

Louise was born on December 7, 1930, in McDuffie County where she resided most of her life. She was the daughter of Ruby and Leonard Henslee, was the oldest of eight girls, and she was the only one still living.

She has lived most of her life in Dearing, Georgia working beside her husband, Calvin in the family business and farm. Louise was a loving homemaker and was exceptionally talented with flower arranging.  She was the owner and operator of the "Flower Box Florist" in Dearing and loved to create breathtaking floral designs for many families in the community.  Louise was also a gifted seamstress.  She was a long-time member of Dearing Baptist Church and cherished studying the Gospel with members of the Friendship Sunday School Class.  However, her greatest joy in life was her family.  She loved each and every one with all her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Leonard Henslee; seven sisters; her husband, Calvin Reeves; daughter-in-law, Laura Reeves, and great granddaughter Colby Reeves.  Louise's survivors include her son, Roy Reeves; daughter, Pat Williams; son Ray Reeves (Denise); grandchildren, Al Reeves, Ryan Williams (Rachel), Katie Reeves, Chelsea Ramsey (Rodman), Rachel Reeves; great grandchildren, Rodney Reeves (Morgan), Cayden Reeves, Asa Reeves, Gray Williams, Drew Williams, Adelynn Reeves, Fisher Reeves, Emberlynn Reeves and one great great grandchild, Asher Reeves.

Visitation will be held at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at Beggs Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., being officiated by Rev. Mike Timmerman. The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery, Thomson, Georgia. Pallbearers for the service are Ray Reeves, Al Reeves, Rodney Reeves, George Holliman, Matthew Caldwell and Ryan Williams, and honorary pallbearers are the members of the Friendship Sunday School Class of Dearing Baptist Church.
