Mrs. Lorena Burke Goolsby, 88, of Maxim Rd., died Fri. Nov. 13th at Lake Crossing Health Care in Appling. Funeral services will be held Sun., Nov. 15th at 3PM at Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church with the Revs. James James and Donald Brady officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Goolsby, daughter of the late Ace and Maude Rowland Burke was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. She was retired from Lincoln County Elementary School Food Services. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Goolsby; a son, Wendell Goolsby; sister, Margaret Story; and brothers Hoyt, John, A.D., and Rudorph Burke Survivors: Son and daughter in law: Clifton Goolsby and wife, Arlen Daughter and son in law: Sue Ashmore and husband, Bill Brother: Grady Burke Grandchildren: Dave Ashmore, Donna Aycock, Ricky Goolsby, William Goolsby, Winona Spires, Brandon Goolsby and Austin Goolsby.
