Harlem, GA - Mrs. Lorena Marie Barrow, 77, of Whitaker Road entered into rest December 12, 2017 at Augusta University (MCG).

She was born in Cuba, NY, grew up in Buffalo, NY, and lived in Florida, Maine, and Augusta, GA, eventually settling in McDuffie County for over 20 years. Mrs. Barrow enjoyed the arts, playing the guitar, piano and mandolin and creating watercolor artwork. She was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of the Thomson Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Barrow was predeceased by her husband, Donald Barrow.

Survivors include her sons, Douglas Burdick (Mary) of Winnsboro, SC and Clint Glover of Beijing, China; brother, Doug Harold Burdick of Alfred, NY; grandchildren, David Lee Doane, Teran Mise, Magen Rideout, and Paul William Burdick; and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 17, 2017 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Hank Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Thomson.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m., Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
