Thomson, GA- Mrs. Lois McCorkle Moore, 82, entered into rest January 6, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at  2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Moore was a native of McDuffie County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late William McCorkle and the late Lula Montgomery McCorkle. She was a homemaker and a member of Washington Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Lynda M. Fowler of Martinez; son, Gary Moore and wife, Louise of Thomson and grandchildren, Dr. Ryan Price and Jamey Moore.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m, Wednesday prior to the service.

Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA is in charge of arrangements.
