Dearing, Georgia- Mrs. Lois Brassell Adams, 93, entered into rest June 12, 2017.

Mrs. Adams was born in Glascock County, Georgia, but lived most of her life in McDuffie County and was a member of Fort Creek Baptist Church. She was a retired nurse with Warrenton Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Adams was predeceased by her husband, Robert Evans Adams; daughter, Laura A. Reeves and great granddaughter, Colbi Reeves.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Adams (Marianne) and Garry Adams (Madrene); brother, Ansley Kitchens; sister, Patsy Kitchens; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock p.m., Friday, June 16, 2017 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Dearing Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

It is the family's request that memorial contributions be made to Fort Creek Baptist Church.
