Thomson, GA – Mrs. Lissie Mae Johnson, 89, entered into rest October 9, 2019.

Mrs. Lissie Mae Johnson, long-time resident of Thomson, was born in Marietta, GA, the daughter of the late Fred Curtis Davis and the late Myrtle Jane Cole.  She was a wonderful mother and homemaker.  Mrs. Johnson loved music and was a Baptist by faith.  She was predeceased by her husband, Gemell Johnson; and grandson, Jason Sammons.

Survivors include her daughter, Leeanor Jane Sammons (Randall) of Coolidge, GA; brothers, Ray Davis (Nora) and Ralph Davis of Murphy, NC; grandchildren, Chris Sammons, Ethan Sammons, and Matthew Sammons (Jenny); and great grandchildren, Matthew Sammons, Jr., Kayden Sammons, and Jentry Sammons.
