Lisa Ann Howard Volpitto

Mrs. Lisa Ann Howard Volpitto, 46, daughter of William C. "Bill" Howard and the late Janice Maxine Howard, entered into rest February 20, 2013. Lisa was a native of Augusta and a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County, Augusta College, the Medical College of Georgia, and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist having touched the lives of many people.

Survivors in addition to her father and his wife, Linda, are her husband, Dr. David Volpitto; her daughter, Tessa Nicole Volpitto; two step-children: Nina Bell and husband, Ryan, and Scott Volpitto; her brothers: Greg Howard and wife, Wendy, Brian Howard and wife, Joanne, and Chris Howard and wife, Sharon; a step-brother, Jeff Logue and wife Ginger; her nephews: Justin Howard and wife, Devin, Brandon Howard and wife, Tiffany, Dylan Howard, Christopher Howard, and Chandler Howard; her niece: Kaitlyn Howard; and three step-grandchildren: Ella Bell, Halle Bell, and Carson Bell. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth Stanfill.

Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Augusta, GA on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 4:00pm. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
