Linda Hughes Willingham
Thomson, GA – Mrs. Linda Hughes Willingham, 77, of South Lake Drive, entered into rest October 26, 2016.
Mrs. Willingham a native of Clarke County, Georgia was the daughter of the late Clinton D. and Lavada Peavy Hughes. She was a long-time resident of Thomson, Georgia, having moved with her family after retiring as a Customer Service Representative from Lowes Corp. in Columbia, South Carolina. Mrs. Willingham was a 1957 graduate of Richmond Academy and a Presbyterian by faith.
Survivors include her beloved husband, William Clark Willingham Jr.; sons, William C. Willingham, III and Wesley T. Willingham both of Thomson, and Clinton D. Willingham (Debbie) of Irwin, NC; sisters, Pat Brigham (Charles) of Marietta, GA, and Amanda Wagner (Jim) of Warner Robins, GA; grandchildren, Ashley, Lindsay, and Clark Willingham; and four great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 o'clock a.m., Monday, October 31, 2016, at Westover Memorial Park, Augusta, GA with Rev. John Barnes officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
