Mrs. Linda S. Hodges DeLoach, 69, of Maggie Valley, NC formerly of Palatka, passed away Thursday July 16, 2015 at Homestead Hospice in Waynesville, NC, following a brief illness.
She was born in Macclenny, was raised in Palatka and had been a resident of Maggie Valley for the past 20 years coming from Palatka. She was a homemaker. Linda enjoyed attending her church, camping and flower gardening. Her family was very special to her. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Maggie Valley.
Surviving are her husband of 39 years Mike DeLoach of Maggie Valley; three sons and daughters-in-law, DeWayne Brantley, Michael and Lisa Brantley and Kenny and Ramona DeLoach all of Interlachen; a brother, Jeff Hodges of Satsuma; seven grandchildren, E-6 Harrison Brantley, U.S. Navy, Mayport Naval Station, Jacksonville, Mikey Brantley of Interlachen, Kaitlyn Brantley of Hollister, Zachary Brantley of Jacksonville, Taylor Brantley of Interlachen, Hailey DeLoach of Interlachen and Kendall DeLoach of Interlachen and one great grandson, Rhyan Robbins of Palatka.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2015 at Palatka Memorial Gardens with Pastor Terry Wright officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.
Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton, Ga is assisting the Deloach family during this time.
