Lillie "Nita" (Goldman) Paradise

Mrs. Lillie O. "Nita" Paradise, 79 of Crook Rd. entered into rest on Friday, January 3rd at her residence. Mrs. Paradise, eighth of eleven children born to Walter H. and Sallie Mae Powell Goldman, was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. She had been employed in earlier years by Kingsley Mill, then later with Almar, Zeus and FDB. She had been a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church for many years. Her husband, Julian T. Paradise, preceded her in death. Survivors: Daughter: Sandra Colley, Lincolnton Sons: Arthur J. Paradise, Ramona, CA Roger Paradise, Lincolnton Tim Paradise, Lincolnton Brother: Bernard Goldman of South Carolina Sisters: Emma Krull, N Hollywood, CA Gail Looney, Arnoldsville, Ga 10 Grandchildren 13 Great- grandchildren Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 7th at 2 p.m. at Hephzibah Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6pm-8pm on Monday evening at the funeral home.
