Lewis Jeff Young

Lewis Jeff Young, 89, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on March 5, 2024.

He was born in Thomson, Georgia on December 4, 1934, to B. O. Young and Lillie Cox Young.  Lewis retired from Kingsley Mill after 40 years of service.  He is Baptist by faith and a member of Washington Heights Baptist Church.  Lewis loved lake fishing at Raysville, motorcycles and refinishing furniture.  He was always witty and joking around and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

His survivors include his devoted wife of fifty-two years, Mary Joyce Waller Young; his son, Mickey Young of Thomson, Georgia; his daughter, Debbie Lane (John) of Appling; his grandchildren, Levi Young (Jess), Lillie Mitchell (Dylan), Chris Lane (Mandy) and Jessica Peebles (Howie) and great grandchildren, Evy Peebles, Britton Lane and Sydney Lane.
