Thomson, Georgia- Theodore Lewis Reese, 81, of Ridge Rd. entered into rest April 7, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 12 o'clock noon, Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in the Chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tim Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Tony Meadows, Don Reese, Wayne Reese and Trapper Reese. Mr. Reese was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, Georgia and was the son of the late Roland Reese and the late Susie Edmunds Reese. He served in the U.S. Army and served in the U.S. Army National Guard for 28 years. Mr. Reese worked many years at National Homes, Uniroyal and Lily Tulip. He was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Reese; daughters, Jan Bailey and husband, Jim of Sugar Hill, Sandy Meadows and husband, Sam and Patricia Reese all of Thomson; grandchildren, Tim Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Tony Meadows, Austin Meadows, Lee Bailey and Wes Bailey; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m until 12:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
