Leroy Johnson Jebco Warrenton, Ga. - Mr. Leroy Johnson, 76 of S. Gibson St. entered into rest August 10, 2010 at MCG. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill South officiating. Interment will follow in the Millcreek Baptist Church Cemetery.Pallbearers will be: Charles Reese, Randall Reese, Danny Reese, Allen Troy, Larry May and Gerald Johnson. Mr. Johnson was born in Glascock County, GA but lived in Warrenton most of his life. He was the son of the late Charlie Johnson and the late Mary Catherine Whitehead Johnson. Mr. Johnson was retired as a finish painter from Jebco in Warrenton, GA. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include his beloved wife of over 50 years, Sally Cooper Johnson, Warrenton; sons, Leroy Johnson, Jr.( Therese), Lincolnton,, Billy Joe Johnson (Brenda), John Edward Johnson (Lee Ann) all of Warrenton; sisters, Lizzie Mae King, Thomson, Betty Jean Hyman, Cadley; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and adopted daughter, Lynn Kent.
