Thomson, Georgia- Mr. Lawrence Walter Finuf, 76, of Stagecoach Rd. N.E. entered into rest April 30, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.

Mr. Finuf was born in Emporia, Kansas and was the son of the late Lester Lloyd Finuf and the late Ruth Lillian Johnson Finuf. He was the retired owner and operator of Finuf Sign Co. Inc.

Mr. Finuf enjoyed gardening, wood working, the outdoors and horseback riding.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Barbara J. Finuf; sons, Bruce Finuf and wife, Barbara Ann; Mark Finuf; daughter, Anita "Chris" Reed and husband, David; grandchildren, Lauren Finuf, Christian Morris, Lindsey Finuf, Marina Reed, Benjamin Reed and Sharon Finuf all of Thomson; brother, David Finuf of Emporia, Kansas and nephew, Lyn Finuf. Mr. Finuf was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Lester Finuf and grandchild, Jack Alexander Reed.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2013 at the funeral home.
