Hephzibah, GA-Mr. Lawrence Wendell "Winky" Chavous, Sr., 65, of Forest Rd. entered into rest April 15, 2016.

Mr. Chavous was a lifelong resident of Richmond County, GA and was the owner and operator of L. W. Chavous Home Improvements. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Chavous; mother, Beannie Chavous; sons, Lawrence W. Chavous, Jr., Bruce Tomes, Joey Tomes; daughters, Amy Byrd, Bonnie Chavous, Karen Chavous and Sheila Gaddy; sisters, Eleanor Heaton and Kathy Herrington and 8 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock p.m., Monday, April 18th in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Brother Ken Heaton officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
