Laverne Mayo Adams
Thomson, GA -Mrs. Laverne Mayo Adams, 68, of Holt Street entered into rest March 26, 2015, at her residence.
Mrs. Adams grew up in the Cadley Community of Warren County and graduated from Warren County High School. She worked at Garland Knitting Mills, Camak Manufacturing and worked at Little Rascals' Day Care for many years. Mrs. Adams lived in Thomson for the past 48 years and was a member of Washington Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Roy Adams; sons, Larry Adams and wife, Lisa, Troy Adams and wife, Crystal; daughters, Denise Crozier and husband, Jason; and Amy Irby and husband, Lance; mother, Martha Mayo; twin brother, Lawrence Mayo; sisters, Carolyn Powell, Gloria Clark, Mary Kennedy and Donna Williford; grandchildren, Morgan Adams, Blake Crozier and fiance (Taylor Inglett), Dillon Crozier, John Adams, Madison Adams, MacKenzie Adams, Avery Irby, Maura Adams, Dalton Adams, Nathan Irby, Riley Brooke Adams; and great grandchildren, Khloe Bush and Mailyn Burnett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015 in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home with Chaplain Finley Limehouse and Rev. David Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
