Laurent "Larry" Verret

Laurent "Larry" Verret 83, Crawfordville, Georgia entered into eternal rest on July 10, 2022.

Laurent was born in Quebec City, Canada, on June 15, 1939, where he lived for 40 years. He moved with his family to Florida in 1978 before relocating to Crawfordville, Georgia in 2019. He graduated from High School and completed University in Quebec. He worked as an accountant and had multiple businesses before retiring early to travel and enjoy life. He was Catholic by faith. Laurent enjoyed traveling, painting, golfing, dancing, swimming, camping and bowling. He was an avid hockey fan and loved all kinds of music from Rock 'n Roll to Island Rhythms but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Laurent was preceded in death by his beloved spouse Louise "LouLou" Faucher Verret, his parents Maurice Verret and Alma Legare Verret, his mother-in-law Marguerite "Leda" Pouliot and his brothers-in-law Guy Paris and Jean-Guy Paquet.  His survivors include his daughter Marie-Josee "Josee" Bray (Peter); his son, Erick Verret (Veronique); his brother Jean-Pierre Verret (Nicole Simard); his sisters Yolande Verret and Denise Verret; his grandchildren Jennifer Bray, Shannon Bray, Julien Verret and Tristan Verret and his great grandchildren Tyler Nowakowski and Jonnie Sullivan.

Laurent touched so many lives with his positive attitude, beautiful smile and his infectious Joie de Vivre (Joy of living).  His legacy will live on with all of us living our life's to the fullest as he did.
