Gibson, Georgia- Mr. Larry Ellis, 62, of Beechtree Acres Rd., entered into rest June 17, 2017 at University Hospital-Augusta.

Mr. Ellis was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late William Edward Ellis and the late Evelyn Leona Williams Ellis. He grew up in Warren County and lived in Gibson for many years. He was a retired construction worker and a Baptist by faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ellis was predeceased by his wife, Judith Ellis; sister, Faye E. Gunn and brothers, Billy Ellis and Ralph Ellis.

Survivors include his sons, Ronnie Ellis (Kristina), Johnny Gardella (Leslie), Jeffery Gardella (Susan), Jason Gardella (Stacy), Michael Jackson; daughters, Tina Ellis, Beth Ellis; brothers, Douglas Ellis,  Buddy Ellis; sisters, Pat Kitchens, Deloria Toulson, Felicia Johnson, Terri Bales and Monica Ellis and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2017 at Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jamie Ellis and Brother Charles Gunn officiating. Interment will follow at Sallie Hill Cemetery, Warrenton, GA.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
