Lanette M. Drinkard

Mrs. Lanette Martin Drinkard, 83 of Sharon Rd. entered into rest on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at University Hospital, Augusta.

Mrs. Drinkard, daughter of the late James Thomas and Maggie Banks Martin, was a native of Lincoln County and had lived in Wilkes County most of her life. She was retired from Royal Manufacturing as a seamstress and was a member of Clifford's Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors:

Husband of 65 years, Gerald Drinkard

Daughters: Debby D. Reed, and husband, Kenneth of Lincolnton

Dean Sisson, and husband, Mike of  Washington

Nancy D. McKellar and husband, Claude of Washington

Seven grandchildren: Kelli R. Ellis, Kenneth Fletcher Reed, Jeri Hucke, Jenny Dove, Julie Driggers, Chris Echols, and Katie McKellar

9 Great- grandchildren

Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016  at 11 a.m. at Resthaven Cemetery, Washington with Revs. Paul Reviere, Donnie Walton and Barry McAvoy officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
