Kenneth White

Mr. Kenneth "Cotton" White, 76 of Hoschton, Ga. entered into rest on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 3pm at Plum Branch Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30pm until the hour of the service at the church.

Mr. White, son of the late William and Alma Jennings on September 2, 1945 in McCormick County. During his childhood, he lived in Plum Branch, Whitetown and McCormick. For a short time he worked at McCormick Mill, enlisted in the US Army National Guard and then went to work at Savannah River Site where he retired as an ironworker. During his career, he and his wife Deborrah lived in McCormick and then moved to Aiken in 1990. A few months ago, they relocated to Hoschton to be with their daughter.

Cotton played football, basketball and softball throughout his life and loved deer hunting. Most of all, he was a wonderful husband, amazing daddy, and awesome Papa. Since retirement, he enjoyed becoming a fulltime babysitter for all of his grandchildren which he adored. He attended Talatha Baptist Church.

He will greatly missed by all that knew him and loved him including his wife of 43 years, Deborrah Sherling White; daughters, Angela White, Karen Munyer and husband Rob, Jessica Massey and husband Travis, Jena Chambers and husband Don; grandchildren, Josh, Daylon, Darren, Emma, Ali, Corliegh, Garris, Elizabeth, Josie, Katherine, and Conner Lee; sister, Brenda Gale Kalbfleisch and husband Thomas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Jason White; brother, Raymond White and sister, Janette Land.
