Camak, GA. - Mr. Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Hill, 52, of Baker St. entered into rest March 22, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 o'clock p.m., Sunday, March 25, 2012 from the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Adam Hill, Thomas Bartlett, Mickey English, Danny Edwards, Billy Gilmer, Chris Logue, Darrell Reese, Kyle Reese, David Lampp and Franklin Partridge. Honorary pallbearers will be: Members of the Thiele Kaolin Reedy Creek Maintenance Department.
Kenny was born in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky but lived in the McDuffie and Warren County area most of his life. He was employed with Thiele Kaolin Reedy Creek Branch, and in previous years had served as Mayor of Camak, Georgia. Kenny also owned and operated Hill's D.J. for over 25 years where he enjoyed playing music for many events such as weddings, trailrides, benefits and charities. He was a member of Mesena United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Frankie Waller Hill of Camak, GA; son, Ray Hill of Warrenton, GA; mother, Barbara Hill; brothers, Durwood Hill and Willie Hill; sister, Barbara Withrow all of Thomson, GA and many nieces and nephews.Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his father, Durwood Hill, Sr..
Friends may call the family's residence, 90 North Baker Street, Camak, Georgia or from 6 until 9 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
