Kenneth J. Glidewell

Mr. Kenneth J. Glidewell, 59 of Bass Rd., entered into rest on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Doctors Hospital, Augusta.

Mr. Glidewell, a native of Bath, Maine, had lived in Pensacola, Florida where he graduated from high school and college. He had lived in the Augusta area for the past 37 years and was last employed by University Hospital as a registered nurse before he became disabled.

Survivors include his parents, William J. "Joe" and Ruzel Spires Glidewell of Lincolnton; daughter, Kirsten A. Parham of N. Augusta, S.C.; sons,  Kenneth J. Glidewell, Jr. of Augusta and Ian Lee Glidewell of Wilmington, Delaware; sister, Karen Glidewell; grandchildren, Kylie Parham, Mattison Parham, Aubrey Parham and Tristan Glidewell.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton. Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
