Mrs. Kay A. Schneider, 73, devoted wife, mother and grandmother of Savannah Lakes Village, McCormick, South Carolina entered into rest on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Self  Regional Medical Center, Greenwood.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Lutheran Church By The Lake, McCormick.

Mrs. Schneider, a native of Columbus, Indiana graduated from New Haven High School, New Haven, Indiana and attended Indiana University. After her two sons were born, she became a stay at home mom until they became teenagers. Then, she worked at the local middle school library and later as a bookkeeper at Tom Wood Toyota in Indianapolis until she retired.

Following retirement around 18 years ago, she and Larry relocated to McCormick, South Carolina. Since living at Savannah Lakes Village, she has enjoyed spending time with her friends golfing, playing bingo and Mahjong. In addition, she volunteered with the Road Warriors and McCormick County Humane Society. She and Larry shared many good memories together including trips to Bahamas and Hawaii.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Larry Schneider; two sons, Anthony Schneider of Franklin, IN, and Derek Schneider of Ft. Wayne, IN; grandchildren Jessica Schneider, Jordan Schneider, Brianna Schneider, Emily Ventura, and Adam Ventura; great- grandchild, Lukas Ventura.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Lutheran Church By The Lake, McCormick.
