Katrina Lynn "Tina" Pentecost

Thomson, Georgia- Mrs. Tina Pentecost, 61, entered into rest October 17, 2016.

Mrs. Pentecost was born in Chamblee, GA, but resided in McDuffie County for most of her life. She was educated in McDuffie County Schools and was a 1973 graduate of Thomson High School. In 1974 she graduated from Augusta Technical School. Mrs. Pentecost was the former co-owner and operator of Raysville Marina. She attended Second Baptist Church and in her leisure time enjoyed travel, fashion, sewing and reading. Her beloved husband, Douglas Pentecost; and  brother, Blaine Clinton Jenkins preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Laurie P. Tricas (Chris) and Courtney Pentecost; a son James D. "Jamie" Pentecost, Jr.; grandchildren, Dylan Grzybowski and Morgan Grzybowski; her parents, Bonnell Lester Jenkins and Jo Helen Norris Jenkins; brothers, Lester "Buddy" Jenkins (Becky), Brett Jenkins (Amanda), Bryan Jenkins (Becky), and Bradley Jenkins (Lauren); and sisters, Bonnie Starling (Ralph), Deborah Mann (Russell), and Susan Pickard (Daryl).

Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock a.m., Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Lester Jenkins officiating.  Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
