Kathy Hawkins Gilmer

Ms.  Kathy Hawkins Gilmer, 41, of Redwood Drive entered into rest March 4, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at  2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 7, 2013 in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.

Kathy was a native of McDuffie County, Georgia and lived in Richmond County for the past four years. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Kathy was a loving and devoted mother who will be greatly missed by her children.

Survivors include her children, Daymon Linkous, Olivia Fitzgerald and Chase Gilmer; mother, Gail Belcher and step father, Danny Belcher; father, Jimmy Hawkins and wife, Kathy; paternal grandmother, Audrey Hawkins; sister, Yvonne Sandifer and husband, Paul; brothers, Brad Belcher, Kevin Belcher, Benjamin Hawkins and wife, Stephanie; aunts, Judy Pettit and Hilda McCarty; uncle, Allen Hawkins; nieces, Kaitlyn Wright, Ashlynn Sandifer and Abby Sandifer; nephews, Cole Wright, Kyle Wright and Philip Belcher.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral  home.

Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
