Kathie Louise (Street) Reid

Mrs. Kathie Street Reid, 71, of Thomson, Georgia entered into rest January 12, 2024.

She was born in Augusta, Georgia to the late Robert Street and Jolene Golf. Kathie was preceded in death by her brother Perry Street and her beloved husband, Conny "Mack" Reid.

Kathie worked for many years as a civilian for the US Government in accounting before returning to Georgia where she worked for her husband in CMR Land and Timber as well as working for Edward Jones. She was an avid collector of bears and angels. Kathie loved making flower arrangements, loved talking to others as she never met a stranger and did her best thinking on her riding lawnmower.

Kathie is survived by her only child, daughter, Anna Mills (Brandon); brother, Bobby Street (Jeanie); sister, Patricia Brunk (Marvin); grandchildren, Kayla Robinson (Tom), Matthew Robinson (Jessica)(Mickaela), Isabella Robinson (Drew), Macy Rice and Trenton Rice; great grandchildren, Aurora Hindmarsh, Wade Hindmarsh and Mason Robinson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, January 18th in the chapel of Beggs Funeral Home, being officiated by Rev. Randy Dunaway. Interment will follow at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Matthew Robinson, Brandon Rice, Danny Mathias, Mark Cliett and Drew Alexis. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17th at the funeral home.

The family would also like to say a special "Thank you" to SouthEast Hospice and that if those attending would wear purple or their favorite Georgia Bulldogs apparel she would love it.
