Mrs. Karen White Johnson, 61, wife of Joey Johnson, stepped into eternity on Tuesday, September 16 th at Doctors Hospital, Augusta.
Karen was born on March 21 st , 1953 to Walter and Martha White in Duluth, Ga. She graduated from Athens High School (Clarke Central) and went on to study Dental Hygiene at the Medical College of Georgia where she met Joey Johnson, to whom she was married 38 wonderful years.
Karen retired from the Medical College of Georgia and enjoyed her daily walks with her dogs and keeping after Joey. Karen was a founding member of New Work Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include two sons, Josiah Frye Johnson and his wife, Ashliegh and Jacob Moore Johnson and his wife, Sarah; two brothers, Alan White and wife, Suzanne of Winterville, Ga. and Timothy White of San Francisco, CA.
Karen was the aunt of 5 nephews and a niece.
