JUSTIN SHELTON Landscape Architect Timothy Justin Shelton (25) died from injuries received from a tragic automobile accident Thursday morning. Justin was a resident of Thomson, Georgia. He graduated from Thomson High School, Class of 2002. He graduated from University of Georgia in May 2008, with a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture. He was on the Dean's List. Justin was on the Board of the UGA Alumni Association, Augusta Chapter. He was employed by Allgood Outdoors of Cumming, Georgia where he anticipated a promising career. Justin is survived by his parents, Tim and Lynn Shelton and his brother William Shelton of Thomson, Georgia; his maternal grandparents, Don and Dot Rawls of Thomson, GA; and his maternal grandmother, Miriam Shelton and the late Milburn Shelton of Martinez, Georgia. Justin was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and watersports. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited. He recently traveled to Argentina with his Dad for a special hunting trip. He loved spending time with his family and friends at the family farm or the lake. His girlfriend, Erin Tuggle, held a special place in his heart. Justin's mild-mannered nature, fun-loving attitude, and dry wit will truly be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C. W. Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Gibson, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund 7519 Edgehill- Mitchell Rd., Gibson, Georgia 30820 or to the Augusta Chapter of the UGA Alumni Association, Wray- Nicholson House, 298 S. Hull Street Athens, GA 30602.
