Judy (Davis) Hayes

Mrs. Judy Davis Hayes, 78, of Weatherly Woods Drive, Winterville, passed away on November 9, 2022, at her residence.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, November 19,2022, at 11:00 AM at Winterville First Baptist Church 305 North Church Street Winterville, Georgia with the interment following in the Winterville Cemetery.

Mrs. Hayes was born in Oglethorpe County to the late Howard and Julia Wheeless Davis.  She was a 1962 graduate from Oglethorpe County High School.  Judy liked movies and going to church.  She even went on a couple of mission trips with her church.  She retired from the University of Georgia where she worked as an accounting and budgeting reconciliator at the Department of Plant Pathology.  Her grandchildren were her heart.

Judy is survived by her two sons; Travis and wife, Michelle Hayes, of Winterville, Thomas Allen "Bo" Hayes, of Tignall, and seven grandchildren.  Her husband of 48 years, Thomas Stokely "Tommy" Hayes, preceded her in death.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Winterville First Baptist Church.
