Judith "Judy" Conner
Thomson, GA- Mrs. Judith "Judy" Conner, 68, of Pine Grove Church Rd. entered into rest surrounded by her many family and friends on August 29, 2014 at University Hospital, Augusta.
Mrs. Conner was born in Augusta, GA and was the daughter of the late Henry Grady Pyle and the late Jessie Lou Brewer Pyle. Mrs. Conner worked many years with an accounting firm in Augusta, later with a law firm in Thomson and most recently for Jimmy Plunkett Law Office. Following retirement as a legal secretary, she and her husband enjoyed volunteering with MANNA, the First United Methodist Church Soup Kitchen and as a volunteer pianist with Warrenton Health & Rehabilitation. Mrs. Conner was also a faithful and devoted member of Union Baptist Church where she served as the church pianist, and was a member of the Lady's Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband, lifetime companion and best friend, Bubber Conner; daughter, Denise Conner Crisco and husband, Cris of Sanford, NC; son, Danny Conner of Thomson; brothers, Jack Pyle and wife, Alice of Blairsville, GA, Jim Pyle and wife, June of Anniston, AL, Pat Pyle and wife, Lenora of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Stormey Craft and husband, Eric, Dana Wicker and husband, Adam and great grandchildren, Hunter Dollar, Mason Dollar, Jonathan Wicker, Ethan Wicker, Hannah Craft, Skye Craft and Erica Craft.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m, Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Butch Baston officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
If so desired, it is the family's request that memorial contributions be made to a Piano Fund in Memory of Judy Conner at Union Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1435, Thomson, GA 30824.
