Mrs. Juanita Holliman Johnson, 90, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on January 14, 2024.

Juanita was born in Dearing, GA to the late Albert Wilbur Holliman, Sr. and the late Carolyn Russell Holliman. She retired from Jefferson Energy as a customer service representative after many years of service.  Juanita was a past member and officer of the Thomson-McDuffie Lions Club. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Thomson where she was a devoted member of the Agape Ladies Sunday School Class.  "Ms. Nita" or "MaMa" as she was affectionately known by many was a loving southern lady. She was the oldest of 10 children and second mother to her younger siblings. Juanita loved all of her family and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R. A. Johnson

Survivors include her daughter, Sue J. Richards and her son-in-law, John; sisters, Clara McNair and Ann Bloodworth; brothers, Larry Holliman and George Holliman; grandchildren, Amy R. Wheatley (Lenny) and Carrie R. Edwards (Josh); great grandchildren, Gabe, Peyton, and Jeremiah Edwards.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Wednesday, January 17th in the Atrium of First Baptist Church Thomson with a funeral service to follow at 2 pm in the Sanctuary with Dr. David Lambert officiating. Interment will be held at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be:  Gabe Edwards, Jeremiah  Edwards, George Holliman, Jeff McNair, Ronnie Tankersley, Ronnie Johnson, Kenneth Johnson and Roger Chalker. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Agape Ladies Sunday School Class.

The family would like to acknowledge Mrs. Johnson's caregivers: Pam Partridge, Faye Redfern, Lillie Cummings Hanson, Linda Howell and Regency Southern Care Hospice for the excellent care they provided.

It is the family's request that Memorial Contributions be made to the Men's Outreach Wheelchair Ramp  Ministry, c/o John Richards 2575 Gilpin Rd, Thomson, GA 30824  .
