Joey Sweatman Thomson, GA. - Joseph Kevin "Joey" Sweatman, 27, of Mesena Rd. died July 30, 2011. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 03, 2011 at Rehoboth Baptist Cemetery in the Metasville Community of Wilkes County. Mr. Sweatman was born in Atlanta, Georgia but lived in McDuffie County many years. He was a heavy equipment operator. Survivors include his wife, Adena Sweatman; children, Tristan Sweatman and Preston Lugari; step-daughter, Victoria Knight; parents, Tina and Bobby Thornton; brothers, Michael Anthony Carter and Ricky Allen Carter; grandparents, Betty and Jerry Blalock.
