Joseph Louis Pretzello, Sr.

Thomson, GA- Mr. Joseph Louis Pretzello, Sr., 77, of Twin Pine Rd. entered into rest April 7, 2015 at Emory University.

Mr. Pretzello was a native of Bridgeport, PA and was the son of the late Andrew Pretzello and the late Jennie Ciarlo Pretzello. He moved to Thomson, GA in 1979 and later retired from National Homes as the Vice President and General Sales Manager. He was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Italian American Club. Mr. Pretzello was also the former Commodore of the Augusta Yacht Club and former Commodore of the Thomson Boat Club.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Ellen Pretzello; sons, Joseph L. Pretzello, Jr. and wife, Debbie of Thomson, GA, Drew Pretzello and wife, Lisa of Gaithersburg, MD, Michael A. Pretzello and wife, Marji of North Augusta, SC; brother, Anthony Pretzello of North Hollywood, CA; Joanne Hector of Bridgeport, PA; grandchildren, Andrew Pretzello, Jr., Summer Salazar and husband, Mickey, Alysha Pretzello, Michael Pretzello, Jr., Heather Pretzello and Myles Pretzello.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 o'clock, a.m., Friday, April 10, 2015 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Stephen Lyness as Celebrant.

The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 o'clock , a.m., Friday at Queen of Angels Catholic Church.

It is the family's desire that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
