Dearing, Ga. - Mr. John Edward Rucker of Hwy. 221 entered into rest July 30, 2010 at Doctors Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Karen Rucker.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 03, 2010 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Rucker was a native of Memphis , Tennessee and lived in Dearing, Georgia for the past 3 years.
He was the son of the late Edward Rucker and the late Mary Ella Taylor Rucker. He served in the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy and retired from the U. S. Army with 32 years total service. Mr. Rucker was a member of Greater Harvest Church of God in Christ of Memphis, TN.
Survivors include his wife; Karen Rucker, Dearing, GA; daughters, Susan Lopez, Dearing, GA, Sibil Moore, CA;sons, Tim Daniels, Dearing,GA, Antonio Rucker, Kim Rucker both of Antioch,CA; brothers, Ralph Edward Rucker, Richard Rucker both of Memphis, TN; sisters, Earnestine Chism, Juanita Johnson both of Memphis, TN, Maie Harris, Hercules, CA, Mary Robinson, Manteca, CA, Theresa Robinson, Aurora, IL; six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Mr. Rucker was preceded in death by a sister, Lela Jean Webster.
