Dearing, GA- Mr. John Pereda, 47, of Washington Drive entered into rest July 12, 2013.

The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in the Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Roberto Herrera as Celebrant.

Mr. Pereda was born in Agana, Guam and lived in the United States most of his life. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during Desert Storm. Mr. Pereda was a Karate instructor for the YMCA in Thomson and Wrens. He also worked with the McDuffie Progress. Mr. Pereda was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Ann Pereda; daughters, Hannah Pereda and Sara Pereda; parents, Juan Pereda and Rosita"Lily" Pereda and brother, Gabriel Pereda and wife, Nuan.

A Rosary will be held at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday and the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., following the Rosary at the funeral home.
