John Carlton Paul
Norwood, GA-Mr. John Carlton Paul, 71, of Indian Hill Road entered into rest September 22, 2014 at GRU.
Mr. Paul was born in Chatham County, GA and lived most of his life in Warren County, GA. He was the son of the late Thomas L. Paul and Gladys Nelson. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a retired mechanic from the Martin Marietta, Warrenton Plant. Mr. Paul was an active member of New Providence Baptist Church in the Cadley Community where he served as an adult Sunday School Teacher for many years.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 26, 2014 at the New Providence Baptist Church in the Cadley Community. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his son, Jamie Paul (Rhonda) of FL; brothers, Thomas Paul (Peggy), of Snellville, Ray Paul (Carol) of Savannah, and Mike Paul (Sandy) of Augusta; sisters; Wanda Judy (L.J.) of Summerville, SC and Glenda Carroll (Doug) of Norwood, GA and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Providence Baptist Church, 10046 GA Hwy. 80 N., Norwood, Ga. 30821.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 25th at Beggs Funeral Home.
