John "David" Holiman

John "David" Holiman, 59, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on September 11, 2024.

He was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 18, 1964, grew up in a military family and lived most of his life in Thomson, Georgia. David worked with Thomson Concrete, was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Grovetown, Georgia, enjoyed playing music and loved spending time with his family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his father, John P. Holiman and his son, Noah Holiman.  His survivors include his wife of 30 years, Sherry Shelton Holiman; his mother Mary Ann Holiman; his son, Andrew Holiman; his daughter, Sarah Martin (Cody); his brother, Michael Holiman (Alma) and grandchild, Cadence Martin.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Martinez, 4594 Columbia Road, Martinez, Georgia 30907.  His memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Matthew Moore officiating.  Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.
