Joe Grady Saxon

Gibson, GA. - Mr. Joe Grady Saxon, 77, entered into rest March 7, 2018 at Gibson Health and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Saxon was a native of Hartwell, Georgia and the son of the late Thurmond Saxon and the late Mattie Drake Saxon. He lived in Gibson since 1985 and was retired as a mechanic from Stapleton Garment Manufacturing. Mr. Saxon enjoyed fishing and camping and he was a Baptist by faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Saxon was predeceased by a son, Joel Saxon.

Survivors include his daughter, Angie Cleveland (Carson) of Dewey Rose, GA; sons, Travis Saxon of Hartwell, GA, Terry Saxon of Gibson, GA; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A family gathering will be held Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the residence of Angie Cleveland in Dewey Rose, GA.

A memorial service will be held at the Gibson Health & Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 1:00pm. B
