Gibson, GA- Mrs. Joe Ann Johnson Hardebeck, 76, entered into rest on January 26, 2016. Mrs. Hardebeck was born in Warren County, Georgia to the late Mashburn C. Johnson and the late Josie Dye Johnson. She was retired from Thermo-King. Mrs. Hardebeck was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husbands, B. E. Gay and Bob Hardebeck; brothers, Everett Johnson, Gerald Johnson, Roy Johnson and Howard Johnson and sister, Mae Johnson. Survivors include two brothers, Bobby W. Johnson of Camak and Margia "Smokey" Johnson of Norwood; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock p.m., Thursday, January 28 th in the chapel at Beggs Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Key officiating.  Interment will follow at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Glascock County.

It is the family's request that in addition to floral offerings, memorial contributions may be made to the Mill Creek Baptist Cemetery Fund, c/o Willis Johnson, 4366 Five-Points Jewell Rd., Mitchell, GA 30820. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m., Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA is in charge of arrangements.
